The Department of Home Affairs Learnerships are part of the Governments ‘National Skills Development Strategy’ Act. This includes the growth of high-value opportunities, employment growth, and skills development in all sectors, social development along with assisting the youth to become part of the labor force in South Africa.
Successful candidates will have great access to mentors and trainers, exploring the wealth of information made available, growing and becoming professionals in various fields. This department makes learnerships available in all provinces throughout South Africa, offering equal opportunities to all the youth. The learnerships will vary in duration and only include a monthly stipend for successful candidates.
They seek talented, young candidates who are interested to fill the scarce skills within South Africa. Candidates will be able to build-up their knowledge, gain invaluable experience and learn from the best. Some successful candidates may be offered a permanent position, however, this is not a guarantee.
